We invest in programs and initiatives aimed at:

Fundraising Events and Giveaway Donations
Supporting fundraising events, banquets and giveaways for conservation and military-focused nonprofits through donations of merchandise.
Providing merchandise or gift cards to local organizations near our retail stores. Eligible organizations must focus on conserving wildlife and habitat, connecting new audiences to the outdoors, or supporting military and veterans.
Guidelines:
- Application Timeline: Rolling
- Requested Grant Amount: Up to $1,000 in merchandise or gift cards.
- Organization Eligibility U.S: Must be a municipality, public institution, or registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) or other 501(c) determination.
- Organization Eligibility Canada: Must be a provincially registered nonprofit, municipality, public institution, or an organization registered as having charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- Project Eligibility: Requests must be for in kind donations to be used at fundraisers, banquets, raffles, door prizes, including handouts to be given away at events. Eligible organizations must have a mission that aligns with our conservation and community pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat, Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors or Supporting Military and Veterans.
- Scouting programs are not eligible for this type of request. Please refer to the Outdoor Fund Scout Grant application.
- If you are an organization based in Springfield, Branson or other nearby community in the Missouri Ozarks, please use the Missouri Ozarks application to apply.

Missouri Ozarks community donations
Strengthening communities in the Missouri Ozarks through support of local nonprofit organizations located in Springfield, Branson and surrounding areas.
Guidelines:
- Application Timeline: Rolling
- Requested Grant Amount: All amounts
- Organization Eligibility U.S: Must be a municipality, public institution, or registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) or other 501(c) determination.
- Project Eligibility: To support event sponsorships and requests for program support for local Springfield, MO and surrounding Missouri Ozarks organizations.

Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Outdoor Fund
Supporting conservation efforts across North America, the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charity powered by contributions from the generous customers of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s.
Outdoor fund: NATIONAL PARTNERS
Working with leading national organizations to move the needle on key conservation priorities, together we are shaping the future of conservation.
Grants at this level are by invitation only.

OUTDOOR FUND: Regional Grants
Supporting statewide and regional projects that align with our conservation pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat and Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors.
Guidelines:
- Application Timeline: Rolling
- Requested Grant Amount: Minimum of $5,000.
- Organization Eligibility U.S: Must be a municipality, public institution, or registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) or other 501(c) determination.
- Organization Eligibility Canada: Must be a provincially registered nonprofit, municipality, public institution, or an organization registered as having charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- Project Eligibility: Request must be for a specific project or program that is focused on one of our key conservation pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat or Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors. Organizations must be working at a regional level in multiple communities, at the state level, or across multiple states.
- Organizations that receive a grant from the Outdoor Fund are expected to use all funds within one calendar year of funding date.
We DO NOT Support:
The Outdoor Fund does not support fundraising events, banquets, and/or items to be given away to participants, general operating support, capital campaigns or endowments, construction and building costs, projects that are in the design or development phase, ATV/UTV and boat requests.

outdoor fund: local impact grants
Supporting local organizations and projects that engage communities near our retail locations and align with our conservation pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat and Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors.
Guidelines:
- Application Timeline: Rolling
- Requested Grant Amount: Up to $5,000
- Organization Eligibility U.S: Must be a municipality, public institution, or registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) or other 501(c) determination.
- Organization Eligibility Canada: Must be a provincially registered nonprofit, municipality, public institution, or an organization registered as having charitable status by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
- Project Eligibility: Request must be for a specific project, program, or community event that is focused on one of our key conservation pillars of Conserving Wildlife and Habitat or Connecting New Audiences to the Outdoors.
- Example Projects: Youth fishing clinic, adaptive kayak launch, equipment request for a gear library, local trail maintenance project.
- Organizations that receive a grant from the Outdoor Fund are expected to use all funds within one calendar year of funding date.
We DO NOT Support:
The Outdoor Fund does not support fundraising events, banquets, and/or items to be given away to participants, general operating support, capital campaigns or endowments, construction and building costs, projects that are in the design or development phase, ATV/UTV and boat requests.

Outdoor Fund: Scout Grants
Supporting scouting troops across the U.S. and Canada, including Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America), Girl Scouts of America, American Heritage Girls, Trail Life, Scouts Canada and Girl Guides of Canada.
Guidelines:
- Application Timeline: Rolling
- Requested Grant Amount: Up to $2,500 (merchandise only)
- Organization Eligibility: Must be affiliated with one of the following national organizations: Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America), Girl Scouts of America, American Heritage Girls, Trail Life, Scouts Canada or Girl Guides of Canada.
- Project Eligibility: Troop must be requesting equipment to support outdoor programming. Gear is expected to stay with the troop for multiple years.
We DO NOT Support:
The Outdoor Fund does not support fundraising events, banquets, and/or items to be given away to participants, general operating support, capital campaigns or endowments, construction and building costs, projects that are in the design or development phase, ATV/UTV and boat requests.
